Job Summary :

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Veterinary Consultant to support the claims verification / assessment for losses reported under Cattle Livestock Insurance . The role involves conducting field investigations, verifying cause of death or illness, and ensuring accurate and timely documentation to support insurance claim settlements.

Eligibilty :

Degree in Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) from a recognized institution.

Valid registration with the Veterinary Council of India or State Veterinary Council.

Minimum 0-5 years of field experience in livestock health and insurance-related work.

Strong knowledge of cattle diseases, treatment protocols, and rural veterinary practices.

Proficiency in report writing, documentation, and use of mobile apps or digital tools.

Ability to travel extensively to rural and semi-urban areas.

Responsibilities / JD :

Conduct Desktop / on-site verification of insured cattle in case of illness, injury, or death.

Perform technical post-mortem examinations and issue veterinary reports for claim validation.

Certify the cause of death or disability in accordance with insurance policy terms.

Collaborate with insurance surveyors and field officers during claim investigations.

Ensure timely submission of veterinary reports, photographs, and supporting documents.

Maintain detailed records of inspections and findings for audit and compliance.

Educate livestock owners on disease prevention, vaccination, and animal care.

Support digital claim platforms by uploading reports and updating claim status.
