Job Description : Aviation Management Practitioner / FacultyJob OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Aviation Management Practitioner to join our faculty in the Business Administration department, focusing on our Undergraduate BBA in Aviation Management program. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the aviation industry, coupled with a passion for education and shaping the next generation of aviation leaders. This position requires a deep understanding of the aviation sector, including laws, operations, customer service, marketing, revenue management, leadership and strategy, finance, and quality and safety management.Responsibilities and Duties- Course Development and Instruction : Design and deliver engaging, up-to-date course content for the specified aviation-specific courses across semesters 2 to 7. Use a mix of theoretical and practical teaching methods to enhance learning experiences, including case studies, simulations, and guest lectures from industry professionals. Assess and evaluate student work in a timely and constructive manner.- Industry Engagement : Maintain and expand relationships with aviation industry partners to facilitate guest lectures, internships, and employment opportunities for students. Stay abreast of current trends, regulations, and developments in the aviation industry to keep course content relevant.- Student Mentorship : Provide guidance and mentorship to students on academic and career development in the aviation field. Assist students in understanding the various career paths within aviation and the skills required for each.- Research and Scholarship : Engage in research or scholarship activities in areas relevant to aviation management. Encourage and facilitate student participation in research projects.- Administrative Responsibilities : Participate in program development, accreditation processes, and continuous improvement initiatives within the department. Attend departmental and faculty meetings, contributing to the academic community.Qualifications- Master's degree in aviation management or a closely related field.
