Job Title :

Assistant Manager – Legal

Experience : 9 - 12 years

Location : Trivandrum

We are looking for legal professional with IT industry experience, skilled in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating technology-related contracts various technology and commercial contracts. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in

software licensing (SaaS model)

and a deep understanding of legal and business nuances in technology transactions.

Key Responsibilities :

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including : SaaS Licensing Agreements, MSAs, Vendor / Procurement Agreements, Consulting Agreements, NDAs, and Partnership Agreements.

Advise stakeholders on contractual obligations, rights, and risk mitigation.

Ensure compliance with applicable laws, internal policies, and business requirements.

Handle legal aspects of software licensing and intellectual property matters.

Manage disputes related to IP rights and technology use.

Review and negotiate contracts with

international clients , ensuring global compliance.

Maintain standard contract templates and support procurement and business teams.

Collaborate with senior management to mitigate legal risks and support strategic initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Bachelor’s in Law (LL.B.); LL.M. preferred.

7–12 years of experience in

IT industry legal roles , with software licensing expertise.

Strong knowledge of intellectual property, technology regulations, and data privacy.

Experience with international contracts.

Excellent drafting, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience in corporate legal departments or reputed law firms supporting technology clients.

Familiarity with contract lifecycle management tools.

Exposure to multi-jurisdictional legal matters.
