About the Role
This Subject Matter Expert position in the Life & Health Technical Accounting (LH TA) Operations team involves full oversight and ownership of key technical topics. The role demands a comprehensive understanding of operations , the ability to work cross-functionally , and strong collaboration across regional teams within and beyond LH Reinsurance Operations .
The individual will mentor market-specific operational experts and support projects across Asia and global regions , with an emphasis on talent development , critical thinking , and driving operational excellence .
Key Responsibilities
- Guide and mentor fellow LH Technical Accountants, ensuring timely delivery and issue escalation.
- Manage Operational KPIs for the assigned LH TA team and ensure service targets are achieved.
- Act as a key contact for operational process efficiency for assigned markets.
- Support the Manager – TA Asia Operations in operational management meetings and contribute to Asia / Global initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with local / regional regulatory requirements and data protection policies across Asia markets.
- Drive continuous process improvements for operational excellence and efficiency.
- Lead effectively through changing market conditions and associated operational impacts.
- Engage with relevant stakeholders and ensure timely process maintenance and enhancement.
- Maintain and grow an inventory of knowledge essential for supporting and evolving products.

- SRAL (Swiss Re Accounting Lifecycle)
- Account Validation
- Business Bound
- Data Management
- IFRS Reporting
- Claims Analysis

About You
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management , Science , or related discipline.Significant experience in Life & Health (LH) reinsurance / insurance operations, especially within Asia .Familiarity with Asian market dynamics is highly desired.Strong analytical , problem-solving , and project management skills.Exposure to scripting languages or relational databases is a plus.Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and navigating conflicting priorities under tight timelines.Proven experience collaborating with global teams and working with diverse partners and customers .Strong interpersonal and communication skills; reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented.Customer-focused, results-driven, and team-oriented mindset.A solid understanding of end-to-end processes and a strong commercial perspective .Job Details
