Hi,We are having an opening for Senior Executive / Manager -BD(Western Europe and Australia / New Zealand) for our Mumbai location.Job Summary : The Business Development Manager plays a pivotal role in driving growth by managing the new product launch process for Western Europe and Australia / New Zealand, ensuring timely and successful market entry. This involves conducting comprehensive analysis and forecasting to identify new product opportunities that align with market trends and business goals. The Business Development Manager is responsible for overseeing portfolio management, balancing existing and new products to optimize performance and profitability. Additionally, the BDM supports third-party vendor management, coordinating with external partners to ensure smooth operations. The role also encompasses business intelligence, gathering and analyzing market data to inform strategic decisions and enhance competitive positioning.Areas of Responsibility : 1. New products opportunities analysis and forecastingAnalyze inhouse and third party new products opportunities . Prepare forecastsWork with corporate to introduce products into R&D developmentSupport periodic review of forecast for existing portfolio - every 6 months2. Third party vendor management supportManage third party products post agreement signing till launchAdministrative / project management support3. Business Intelligence supportGathering business intelligence regarding market and new productsEducational Qualification : Degree in Pharmaceutical / Science backgroundMBA (preferred)Skills : Planning and prioritizing complex tasksComputer and excel skillsAbility to work with different functionsCommunication and persuasion skillsTeam workCross-cultural awarenessProduct development processFluency in EnglishExperience in pharmaceutical industryExperience : 5-8 years experience in pharmaceutical product planning / project management / business developmentExperience in coordinating with various stake holders in corporate environment
