About the role :
Are you ready to transform data into actionable insights? As a Data Analytics Engineer, you'll be a key player in our development team, designing, implementing, and optimising both internal and external data systems.
This role combines technical proficiency with business acumen to drive our decision-making processes. Collaborate with various teams to develop robust data solutions while ensuring data quality, accessibility, and security standards.
What makes you a great fit :
- Proven experience as a Data Analytics Engineer or similar role with 5+ years of experience
- Experience with Agile / Scrum software development methodologies
- Proficiency in Python , SQL , and other programming languages used in data engineering
- Expertise in designing and implementing efficient data models and database structures
- Strong knowledge of ETL processes and tools for data integration
- Experience with Google BigQuery data warehousing platform
- Ability to orchestrate complex data pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow
- Understanding of data quality principles and techniques
- Familiarity with Azure and Google Cloud Platform for scalable data solutions
- Experience with version control systems like Git
- Proficiency in setting up monitoring and logging solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with emerging technologies
Key responsibilities :
Design, develop, and optimise ETL pipelines and data processing workflowsBuild and maintain scalable data models, warehousing solutions, and analytics frameworksWrite high-quality, documented code adhering to team coding standardsCollaborate in weekly refinement and planning sessionsImplement data validation rules and quality checksCreate and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemasDevelop automated testing frameworks and monitoring solutionsWork closely with Business Analysts and Operations teams to translate business requirements into technical specificationsBuild reusable code libraries and toolsParticipate in code reviews and provide constructive feedbackPerks for our People :
