Backend Developer - Node.js

About the Role :

We are looking for a Backend Developer with strong expertise in Node.js to join our growing development team. You will be responsible for building scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs that power web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, databases, and modern backend architecture using Node.js and related Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain server-side logic, APIs, and services using Node.js.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and designers to deliver robust, scalable web and mobile solutions.
• Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performing backend systems.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Perform code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and contribute to CI / CD pipelines.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and other agile Skills & Qualifications :
• 2-5 years of hands-on experience with Node.js in a backend development role.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript / TypeScript, Express.js, and API development.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Solid experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or other NoSQL / SQL databases.
• Familiarity with authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT, etc.)
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of best practices in backend security, performance tuning, and error handling.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI / CD tools, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
