Job Overview

We are seeking a committed and knowledgeable Study Abroad Education Counsellor to join our team in Andheri. This is a full-time, mid-level position requiring a maximum of 6 years of work experience. The ideal candidate will guide students through the process of studying abroad, leveraging their expertise in international education systems and student visa processing.

Qualifications and Skills

Proficiency in student visa processing (Mandatory skill).
In-depth knowledge of international education systems (Mandatory skill).
Experience with CRM software to manage student data effectively and efficiently.
Strong cross-cultural communication skills to interact with diverse student backgrounds.
Familiarity with interpreting SAT / IELTS scores for advising students on eligibility.
Skills in market research tools to identify the latest education trends and opportunities.
Experience in academic credential evaluation to assess students' educational qualifications.
Competency in using online meeting platforms to conduct virtual counselling sessions, such as Zoom.

Roles and Responsibilities

Advise students and parents on program selection, admission requirements, and available scholarships for overseas education.

Provide detailed and accurate guidance on the student visa application process.

Conduct informative sessions and webinars to enhance awareness of study abroad opportunities and benefits.

Collaborate with universities and institutions to understand and update admission procedures and changes.

Assist in organizing and conducting pre-departure orientations for students preparing to study abroad.

Maintain and update records in the CRM system, ensuring all student interactions are well-documented.

Conduct follow-ups to support students throughout the application and enrollment process.

Stay informed about changes in visa regulations and international education systems to provide up-to-date advice.

Engage in calling and counseling students over virtual platforms like Zoom.
