Job description

Responsibilities :

Lead the design and development of scalable data pipelines using AWS (Glue, Redshift, Athena)
Drive architecture decisions for data systems that support business analytics and application features
Build end-to-end solutions, including backend APIs and, where applicable, simple UI components
Orchestrate workflows using Airflow or equivalent tools, ensuring dependency management and error handling
Ensure high standards of data quality through validation frameworks and monitoring
Automate deployment and testing processes through CI / CD for data infrastructure
Partner with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver reliable, performant solutions
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a high-performance engineering culture
Stay current on industry trends and evaluate new tools and technologies

Requirements and Preferred Experience :

7+ years of experience in data engineering with exposure to full-stack development

Deep experience with AWS data services (Glue, Redshift, Athena) and ETL / ELT development

Proficiency in SQL and data modeling concepts

Strong experience with Airflow or other orchestration tools

Exposure to backend development (Node.js, Python, or similar) and familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, etc.)

Experience implementing CI / CD for data workflows and APIs

Strong grasp of software engineering principles and agile methodologies

Demonstrated ability to own and deliver complex, high-impact data projects
