Role And Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tax Manager to lead and manage complex tax compliance and advisory services for a diverse client base. This role requires hands-on experience with a wide range of tax forms including Form 1040 (Individual), 1041 (Estates & Trusts), 1065 (Partnerships), 1120 (C Corporations), 1120S (S Corporations), and 990 (Nonprofits). The ideal candidate will also have proven expertise in handling IRS / state tax notices, tax planning, and entity dissolutions.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for :

• Individuals (1040)
• Estates & Trusts (1041)
• Corporations (1120, 1120S)
• Partnerships (1065)
• Nonprofit organizations (990)
• Review complex tax filings prepared by staff for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide IRS and state audit support; respond to tax notices and represent clients before tax authorities.
• Conduct tax research and provide guidance on tax law changes and strategies.
• Manage and oversee entity dissolutions, including filings and final tax returns.
• Develop and implement efficient tax strategies for clients.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to gather necessary documentation.
• Mentor and supervise junior staff and tax preparers.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring quality service CPA license required (or EA with significant experience).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field..
