Job Description

We are looking for an experienced AWS Infrastructure Specialist to join our team in the Communication sector. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in AWS infrastructure administration, automation, and operational management. You will be responsible for managing cloud environments, implementing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), ensuring security and scalability, and troubleshooting production-level issues. This role requires a mix of hands-on technical skills, problem-solving ability, and strong communication to collaborate effectively across teams.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and administer AWS infrastructure components (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, etc.).
Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform and / or CloudFormation.
Automate cloud management tasks using Python, Bash, or equivalent scripting languages.
Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure using CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK, and other monitoring tools.
Ensure network fundamentals (DNS, firewall rules, virtual networks) are properly configured and secure.
Support incident resolution and root cause analysis for production-level issues.
Maintain detailed system documentation and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
Work with cross-functional teams to support scalable, reliable, and secure AWS deployments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on AWS administration experience.

Strong expertise with AWS services : EC2, S3, VPC, IAM.

Proficiency in IaC tools : Terraform and / or CloudFormation.

Strong scripting experience in Python, Bash, or equivalent.

Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK).

Familiarity with network fundamentals (DNS, firewall rules, virtual networks).

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for production environments.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

AWS Certifications (e.g., SysOps Administrator).

Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, ECS).

Exposure to CI / CD pipelines and DevOps tooling.
