Job Opportunity : Senior Specialist - FP&A(Cost)

Key Responsibilities
Major Focus Areas :
Cost | Revenue | P&L | Forecasting | Variance Analysis | Month-End Closing | Power BI
Strong understanding of
Accounting Principles
and
US GAAP , specifically related to revenue and cost accounting.
Perform
month-end close activities , including accruals and revenue / expense reclassifications.
Prepare
detailed financial reports
and
graphical dashboards
to support leadership insights and decisions.
Collaborate with
regional stakeholders
to analyze key changes and required adjustments.
Support Business Partners and Profitability teams by reviewing cost and revenue trends and identifying spend variances against plan.
Deliver
weekly and monthly financial reporting
for senior management.
Provide
accurate financial forecasts
based on business trends and accounting principles.
Identify and implement
process improvements
within the FP&A function.
Utilize tools such as
MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI , and other analytical software for enhanced financial analysis.
Experience & Skills Required
5–8 years
of experience in financial reporting, planning, analysis, or related functions.
Experience in a
corporate finance environment
is preferred.
Hands-on experience with
financial and statistical software .
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
(complex formulas, dashboards, automation).
Ability to create and present
comprehensive financial reports and charts .
Power BI
experience is a strong plus.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required.
MBA / Advanced Degree
in Finance preferred.
Professional certifications such as
CA, CPA, CFA , or equivalent are an added advantage.
