ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Junior Accountant who will manage vendor payments, purchase orders, reconciliations, and accounting compliance. You will work closely with procurement, operations, sales, and finance teams to ensure smooth vendor management, timely payments, and accurate record-keeping. This is a great role for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in end-to-end accounting, reporting, and compliance in a fast-scaling D2C environment.

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

• Manage end-to-end vendor communication and resolve queries promptly.
• Ensure timely vendor payments on fixed cycles and process payments within 24 hours of approval.
• Handle purchase orders (POs) – creation, validation, and closure in coordination with procurement and finance teams.
• Book and audit recurring expenses, freight costs, BizPay transactions, and Axis PayPro payments.
• Support collections and reconciliation across online and offline sales channels, including marketplaces like Amazon and Myntra.
• Process customer refunds and maintain accurate refund MIS and return records.
• Assist in statutory compliance including GST filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), TDS returns, ITC claims, and other regulatory reports.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation to support audits and internal reviews.
• Prepare and maintain reports and MIS such as vendor ledger reconciliation, procurement MIS, payable sheets, and sales reconciliations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and ensure alignment across departments.
