Role Overview
We’re seeking a highly skilled professional with strong, practical expertise in PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) and Key Management Systems — particularly in secure, connected, or automotive environments. The role involves technical delivery and guided knowledge transfer over a short, two-week engagement focused on applied implementation.
Core Technical Skills
- Deep hands-on experience with PKI architecture – CA / Sub-CA hierarchy, certificate lifecycle, CRL / OCSP configuration.
- Expertise with OpenSSL, EJBCA, SoftHSM, or OpenXPKI.
- Strong understanding of AWS KMS, CloudHSM, IAM, and encryption key rotation policies.
- Ability to integrate PKI workflows with cloud and IoT / automotive systems (mTLS, SecOC, ECU-to-cloud security).
- Working knowledge of Python automation using boto3, hashlib, and related libraries.
- Familiarity with TLS / mTLS, secure communication protocols, and Wireshark for message analysis.
- Awareness of ISO 21434, UNECE R155, or AUTOSAR Security Framework is a plus.
What You’ll Do
Design and validate practical PKI & KMS implementation exercises using open source and AWS toolchains.Deliver technical sessions and hands-on walkthroughs for engineers and practitioners.Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and live demonstrations of PKI KMS integrations.Collaborate on documentation, evaluation, and best practices.Ideal Profile
Cloud Security / PKI Architect, Cybersecurity Consultant, or Automotive Security Engineer with 5–10 years of experience.Prior exposure to enterprise or automotive-grade key management preferred.Experience in mentoring, technical workshops, or internal enablement sessions a plus.
