We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Configurator Developer to join our team in building and maintaining Items, Bill of Materials and Product Configurator for our CPQ / PLM / ERP Systems. This role is central to enabling seamless product configuration experiences across multiple Order Entry systems , ensuring accuracy, scalability, and performance.

As a Manufacturing Product Knowledge Developer, you will be responsible for implementing and optimizing complex product structures, rules , and relationships within the applications platform. You will collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate product strategies into robust configuration logic and enable functional processes. This includes custom development where necessary to support advanced product behaviors and integrations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product modeling, configuration logic, and CPQ / PLM / ERP systems, with a passion for solving intricate product challenges through thoughtful design and development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Set up Items, BOMs, and Configurator Models based on engineering specifications and manufacturing requirements.
• Configure product knowledge rules, logic, and relationships to support dynamic product offerings.
• Develop custom solutions and enhancements using Java to support advanced product configurator functionality.
• Understand and interpret Engineering Drawings and Design BOMs to ensure accurate configuration.
• Understanding / supporting internal and external data integrations with multiple order entry systems and manufacturing systems .
• Analyze business requirements, develop design, manage configuration and integration, and conduct robust testing to support new system implementations , current system upgrades and business process changes
• Troubleshoot and resolve product configurator-related issues, ensuring high availability and reliability of the order entry systems.
• Stay current with best practices, emerging technologies, and product modeling techniques to continuously improve configurator performance and maintainability.
