Senior UI Engineer, AVP

Job descriptionDevelopment of scalable UI applications using React and modern frameworks. Drive UI strategy, component architecture, performance optimizations, and best practices. Collaborate with backend teams to integrate microservice-based architectures in GCP with secure communication. Provide technical leadership in frontend engineering, coding standards, and design patterns. Translate complex requirements into intuitive, user-friendly interfaces. Mentor junior engineers via code reviews and technical guidance. Lead Agile processes, including sprint planning and architecture discussions. Drive CI / CD pipelines for UI apps on cloud-native platforms. Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality applications. Stay current with frontend, cloud-native, and DevOps technologies. Design scalable, performant solutions for user stories. Write unit / integration tests using TDD / BDD. Ensure observability with logging, metrics, and monitoring. Follow SOLID principles and clean code practices. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and teams. Bachelor's / Master's in Computer Science or related field. 8+ years in developing enterprise-scale React apps. Strong in React (hooks, Redux / Context), REST API consumption, and async data handling. Proven experience leading frontend architecture with microservice backends. Expertise in performance optimization, responsive UI, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility. Solid understanding of microservices and containerized backends. Hands-on with GCP : Pub / Sub, storage, networking, security, and CI / CD for UI. Proficient in RESTful API integration, OAuth2, JWT, and SSO. Familiar with IaC tools like Terraform / Ansible. Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and scalable UI design patterns. Experienced in TDD / BDD and CI / CD pipelines. Skilled with SDLC tools : Git, JIRA, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc. Familiarity with Java / Spring Boot for backend collaboration. Strong communication and leadership skills. Working knowledge of SQL and database modelling. Excellent debugging and problem-solving in distributed systems. Promotes engineering best practices and continuous learning.
