Computer Aided Design Drafter

Key Responsibilities

• Produce 2D and 3D CAD drawings for water treatment plants, piping layouts, equipment assemblies, and structural components.
• Prepare P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), GA drawings (General Arrangements), fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Develop detailed mechanical, civil, and process drawings based on engineering inputs.
• Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, client specifications, and project requirements.
• Maintain and update drawing registers, revision histories, and documentation systems.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and procurement teams to ensure accurate representation of project needs.
• Assist in material take-offs (MTOs), bill of quantities (BOQ), and equipment layout optimization.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and constructability.
• Support site teams by providing technical clarifications and updates when needed.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to company drafting guidelines and water treatment industry codes.
