Role Description

We are looking for a Junior Software Tester with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in automation and API testing. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Mumbai, where you’ll work closely with senior developers and QA leads to ensure every release meets top-tier quality standards. You’ll be involved in writing and executing automated test scripts, validating APIs, and contributing to continuous improvement in our QA processes.

Some work-from-home flexibility is available as part of our hybrid setup.

Responsibilities

Execute automated and manual test cases for web and API-based applications
Validate APIs and endpoints using tools like Postman or similar
Create, maintain, and enhance automation scripts (preferably in Playwright, Selenium, or Reqnroll)
Collaborate with development and QA teams to reproduce and resolve defects
Prepare detailed test reports, track issues, and verify fixes using Jira
Contribute to process improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to testing best practice

Technical Requirements

2+ years of experience in software testing (Automation + API)

Hands-on experience with Playwright / Selenium / Reqnroll

Solid understanding of API testing and validation techniques

Experience with Postman for API automation

Working knowledge of GitHub for version control

Familiarity with Jira for project management and bug tracking

Basic understanding of CI / CD pipelines is a plus
