Job Description : D365 FO Finance Consultant

Experience : 8+ years

Key Responsibilities :

Provide functional support for D365 FO Finance, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Cash & Bank modules.

Execute incident management, triage, and root-cause analysis for finance-related tickets and recurring issues.

Oversee cost accounting processes, support configuration and review of cost centers, cost allocation, and tracking.

Support asset management including work order management, scheduling, asset tracking, and resource allocation.

Assist with financial close activities, reconciliations, and compliance monitoring.

Document processes, solutions, and contribute to the client knowledge base.

Collaborate with technical consultants to troubleshoot integrations impacting finance functions.

Provide data for SLA, KPI, and operational reporting on finance ticket trends and resolution metrics.

Support knowledge transfer, documentation review, and handoff to team members.

Participate in post-upgrade validation and ongoing system optimization activities.

Qualifications & Skills :

Minimum 6-8 years’ experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance modules; D365 certification preferred.

Strong understanding of financial business principles, cost accounting, and asset management workflows.

Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

Experience with cross-functional ERP support teams.

Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
