Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Junior Software Engineer. Based in Greater Johor Bahru, this role involves both in-office work and occasional remote work flexibility. The Junior Software Engineer will assist in developing and maintaining software applications, implementing back-end solutions, adhering to software development best practices, and applying programming skills to meet project requirements. The role also involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, dependable software systems.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science
• Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development and Software Development
• Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Ability to solve problems methodically and collaborate in a team environment
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and software development tools
• Excellent communication skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Interest or experience in AI geospatial intelligence or defense technology is a plus
