Senior Database Administrator - SQL

8+ years experience in Administration of MS SQL Server 2019, 2016, 2012, 2008 R2 and 2008 on standalone and cluster servers, SQL Always On.

Strong DBA production supports an database upgrade / migration experience.

Experience in database security management.

Experience in in place upgrade and side by side upgrade and upgrade / migration to new hardware.

Implementing and administration of backup / restoration, disaster recovery, High availability solution.

Capacity management, Monitoring of overall health of servers in different environments.

Analyzing data issues and providing fixes.

Leading team level initiatives / process improvements / automation

Releasing code changes and schema changes to production.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Experienced in AWS (RDS, EC2, s3, instance migration / upgradation, RDS snapshot / cloning / restoration).

Knowledge in AWS VPC, security, DMS.
