Finance Executive
Job Summary :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Executive with experience in the SaaS industry. The role involves managing bookkeeping, vendor and customer reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, MIS reporting, and ensuring statutory compliance . The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Zoho Books and a strong understanding of SaaS-based financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & General Accounting :
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper bookkeeping of all transactions.
- Post daily journal entries and reconcile bank statements on a regular basis.
- Manage fixed asset and inventory records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Accounts Payable :
Process vendor payments on a timely basis and maintain payable schedules.Perform vendor reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.Manage vendor form filling and documentation requirements.Ensure accuracy in processing invoices and issuing payments.Accounts Receivable :
Generate and dispatch customer invoices as per SaaS billing cycles.Record receipts, verify TDS and other deductions, and reconcile receivables.Follow up with customers for outstanding payments and resolve disputes.Prepare aging analysis and customer account reconciliations.MIS & Reporting :
Prepare MIS reports (weekly / monthly) covering receivables, payables, cash flow, and revenue performance.Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.Upload and maintain reports on Google Drive for management review.Statutory Compliance :
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Professional Tax, and EPF regulations.Coordinate with auditors for statutory filings and tax audits.Prepare GSTR1 and GSTR2A reconciliations and follow up with vendors for compliance.Other Responsibilities :
Support management with ad-hoc financial analysis.Assist in streamlining processes to improve accounting efficiency.Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth financial operations.Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Commerce (BCom preferred).2–4 years of experience in finance / accounts, with at least 1+ year in the SaaS industry .Hands-on experience in Zoho Books and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, vendor reconciliation, payables, receivables, and MIS reporting.Familiarity with Indian taxation (GST, TDS) and statutory compliance requirements.Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
