Main Purpose :

To support seismic reservoir characterization and interpretation within integrated reservoir studies and well planning efforts. The role focuses on applying geophysical principles and learning industry-standard seismic data analysis techniques to enhance subsurface understanding, under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities :

Seismic Reservoir Characterization & Inversion Support

• Assist in generating basic seismic inversion products and attribute maps under supervision.
• Support rock physics modeling and perform fluid / lithology substitution studies.
• Help prepare synthetic seismograms (zero-offset and offset) for seismic ties.
• Contribute to wavelet extraction and well-to-seismic tie analyses.
• Participate in seismic attribute analysis (crossplots, elastic impedance, AVO) for fluid and lithology characterization.
• Learn and apply various seismic inversion techniques (e.g., post-stack, pre-stack, colored inversion).
• Support basic risk and uncertainty assessments in reservoir characterization studies.
