Senior Node JS Developer

Role- Senior Node JS Developer Location - Andheri East, Mumbai

CTC - Up to 12 LPA(Depending on experience)

Experience -Minimum 4 years experience

We are looking for a Node.js Developer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building RESTful APIs or GraphQL services, ensuring scalability, security, and seamless integration with frontend and third-party systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js

Build and integrate RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints with frontend and external systems

Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable applications

Optimize backend systems for performance, speed, and scalability

Implement security and data protection best practices across all services

Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following industry standards

Conduct code reviews, perform debugging, and resolve production issues

Develop and maintain unit / integration tests to ensure code reliability

Participate in agile processes and contribute to continuous improvement

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

3–6 years of experience in backend development with Node.js

Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and backend frameworks such as Express.js or Nest.js

Experience working with databases (MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar)

Familiarity with API design principles and microservices architecture

Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git

Understanding of DevOps practices, CI / CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Mocha, Jest, or Supertest

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to performance and scalability
