Role Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced

Sr. Manager – Safety

to lead and implement workplace safety programs for a large-scale

industrial / factory project . The role requires strong knowledge of occupational health & safety, statutory compliance, risk management, and implementation of industry best practices to ensure a safe working environment. The Sr. Manager will play a critical role in building a proactive safety culture and driving continuous improvement in EHS performance.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and monitor

safety policies, procedures, and systems

aligned with statutory requirements and international standards.

Conduct

risk assessments, HAZOP, HIRA, and Job Safety Analysis (JSA)

for critical industrial activities.

Oversee

safety planning and execution

during construction, commissioning, and operational phases of the factory project.

Ensure compliance with

local laws, Factory Act, OSHA, ISO 45001, and environmental regulations .

Lead

incident / accident investigations , root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.

Conduct

safety audits, inspections, and toolbox talks

to drive awareness across the workforce.

Develop and deliver

safety training programs

for employees, contractors, and supervisors.

Coordinate with project management, engineering, and operations teams to integrate safety into all activities.

Prepare and maintain statutory reports, safety documentation, and compliance records.

Foster a culture of

zero harm and continuous safety improvement

at the workplace.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in

Engineering / Industrial Safety / Environmental Science .

Diploma in Industrial Safety

from a recognized institute (mandatory).

Minimum

12–15 years of safety experience

in

industrial projects, factories, or manufacturing plants .

In-depth knowledge of

EHS laws, Factory Act, and global HSE standards .

Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to influence and drive safety culture across all levels.

Experience in handling large workforces, contractors, and multi-stakeholder environments.

Excellent communication, reporting, and training delivery skills.
