Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of the Castrol Data Ecosystem ensuring sustainability, scalability, and alignment with the Data Management Framework and established data standards.
Oversee governance related to data quality, data pipelining, data modeling, compliance, and security across all systems and platforms within the Data Management Framework.
Collaborate with Castrol's C&P, Technology, GBS teams, and various PUs, HUBs, Functions, and Markets to resolve strategic data challenges across digital, management information (MI), and analytics domains.
Lead integration efforts for internal and third-party data sources in accordance with Castrol Data Fabric standards, supporting advanced digital capabilities including data augmentation, predictive analytics, decision intelligence, and AI.
Partner with global peers and multi-disciplinary teams, working across different time zones to drive initiatives and ensure effective communication and alignment.
Recommend strategies for data architecture improvements, capability / toolkit enhancements, and continuous process improvements to the Digital Operational Excellence Manager and relevant business stakeholders.
Experience and Qualifications :
Degree in an analytical field, preferably engineering.
Over 10 years of experience delivering data strategies and ETL transformations within large ERP and business transformation programs.
Deep expertise in data modeling, data lineage, normalization, harmonization, data pipeline design, and process architecture.
Proficient in translating complex data into actionable insights using query tools, models, and Power BI.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present compelling data narratives to diverse audiences.
Skills & Proficiencies :

Expertise with ERP systems such as SAP / R3, SAP / S4, and JDE, including navigation of ERP data layers and lineage assessment.
Advanced skills in Power BI and data visualization techniques.

Excellent influencing and leadership skills, adaptable to different audiences, capable of guiding both junior and senior collaborators.
