Job Summary :
The Lab Assistant will support teaching and research activities in the Electronics and Communication Engineering. The role involves assisting students and faculty in the development, testing, and maintenance of electronic hardware systems, with emphasis on FPGA programming, printed circuit board (PCB) design, and open-source VLSI tools.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in setting up, configuring, and maintaining laboratory equipment for digital and analog electronics experiments.
- Support FPGA-based system design, programming, and verification using platforms such as Xilinx or Intel FPGA toolchains.
- Develop, assemble, and troubleshoot printed circuit boards (PCBs) for instructional and research projects.
- Guide students in using simulation and synthesis tools for digital design and verification.
- Utilize open-source VLSI design tools for circuit design and layout workflows.
- Maintain laboratory inventory, documentation, and ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Provide technical assistance in academic projects, hardware interfacing, and embedded system experiments.
Qualifications and Skills :
Diploma degree in Electronics and Communication EngineeringPreferred Experience :
