Job Title : Lead – Tech (Quality and Test Engineering) Location : Bangalore, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, India Job Type : Full-Time | Hybrid (based on project requirements) About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Lead – Quality and Test Engineering professional to drive automation, testing strategy, and quality assurance across complex financial systems and trading platforms. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical foundation in software development, hands-on experience in building test frameworks, and a solid understanding of financial markets and asset classes. This role involves 70% hands-on development and 30% testing / leadership. You will work with top-tier engineers to ensure the reliability and performance of mission-critical financial systems in an agile and high-performance environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and enhance test automation frameworks and tools. Collaborate with developers and product owners to define testing strategies and ensure quality standards. Conduct white-box and integration testing for trading and financial systems. Analyze and improve existing QA processes with a focus on scalability and efficiency. Work with teams on exchange connectivity and real-time data validation. Lead and mentor a small team of test engineers in automation and test design. Manage release planning, end-to-end QA ownership, and quality governance. Drive test automation coverage, improve CI / CD testing integration, and optimize productivity. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (BE / BTech or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 6–8 years of relevant experience in test engineering and software development. Strong programming experience in Java, C++, or .NET (mandatory). Hands-on experience with Python or Perl scripting. Proven ability to design and implement test automation frameworks. Understanding of financial markets and asset classes (exchange-traded & OTC). Working experience with UNIX / Linux systems. Familiarity with JUnit, TestNG, and API / UI test automation (React / Redux). Experience testing distributed and client-server systems. Must-Haves : 6–8 years of experience in software testing and development. Strong development background (70% development / 30% testing). Hands-on framework design and white-box testing experience. Financial systems and trading platform testing experience. Strong academic and organizational background (Tier-1 colleges or top tech companies preferred). Job stability (minimum 2 years in each organization). Nice-to-Haves : Prior experience leading or mentoring QA automation teams. Exposure to large-scale trading systems or financial infrastructure. Knowledge of CI / CD pipelines, performance testing, or DevOps practices. Work Model : Full-time, hybrid work flexibility based on project requirements. Locations : Bangalore, Gurgaon, or Hyderabad.
