Job description
  • SQL Azure SQL 'Design, develop, enhance, code, test, and debug of complex database systems, preferably relational (SQL) databases.
  • Architect and implement large-scale, complex database solutions across multiple platforms, ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • Extensive experience designing and optimizing database schemas, ensuring efficient indexing and high-performance query execution preferred.
  • Proven experience working with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., Azure SQL Database) required.
  • Facilitate and lead discussions on database requirements, data modeling, normalization, and query optimization across teams.
  • Participate in architecture and design sessions at the product level to define robust data solutions.
  • Drive feature-level database architecture and design, ensuring adherence to best practices for database performance and security.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to database procedures, query performance, and standards for increased efficiency and reliability.
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies, and identify and communicate technical trends related to databases, cloud solutions, and distributed architectures.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards across all database implementations.
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and other team members, utilizing strong interpersonal and communication skills to convey complex technical details.
