Transfer Pricing & Tax Compliance Specialist

Job Purpose

To ensure the timely completion of all tax compliances and accurate advice to business on various Tax and Transfer Pricing matters.

Key Accountabilities

1.In depth Research on complex tax advisory and transfer pricing issues

2.Ensure timely and accurate direct tax compliances including tax returns, transfer pricing compliances, tax audits and various certifications

3.Take control of tax representations before the tax authorities

4.Compilation, review and Co-ordinate with auditors for transfer pricing documentation and Tax Audit

5.Provide tax opinions to internal and business stake holders with regards to change in business models

6.Review of data for TP Assessments and assist corporate tax team and tax consultants as required

7.Liaise with tax consultants on regular basis in respect of various tax compliances, tax advisory, tax representation and tax litigations

9.Assist Corporate tax department for providing required details for business restructuring and tax planning initiatives and tax compliances

10.Ensure process adherence and efficiency across the Direct Tax department. Drive process rigor and monitor quality on an ongoing basis through random checking of tax computations & returns

11. Cultivate strong relationship and work culture within the team.

12.Pro-actively support Tax Head and business. Comply with Tax dashboard requirements. Review of documentation prepared for Management discussion & Analysis.

13.Drive standardization, simplification & best practice sharing across all processes / businesses. Review and suggest ways of improvements in the processes

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Chartered Accountant

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

10-15 years of relevant taxation experience (CA)

Desirable – Experience in corporate tax department of large business house or Big4
