Job description

Responsibilities

  • Oversee design, build, and post-launch monitoring of GK POS applications.
  • Develop and maintain integrations for real-time and file-based data exchange.
  • Lead redesign and implementation strategies related to SAP NEO migration.
  • Create architectural roadmaps for Salon Centric projects.
  • Collaborate on API-based integration design and validation.
  • Manage product deliverables across the development lifecycle with offshore teams.
  • Provide expert guidance on retail application functionality and system efficiency.
  • Translate technical details into business-relevant language for stakeholders.
  • Support agile transformation and product-oriented development.
  • Adapt to Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies as needed.
  • Coordinate with global internal and external project teams on change and vendor management.
  • Participate in planning sessions to align with technology strategy and innovation.
  • Handle multiple tasks / projects and communicate status effectively.
  • Adhere to internal policies including DEI and Sustainability.

Profile

  • Minimum Diploma or Bachelors in Information Technology , Business and Engineering
  • Minimum 6-7 years of experience, with GK Omni POS Platform
  • Expert in Systems Architecture and IT Project Lifecycle.
  • Mastery of GK Omni POS Platform (Cegid or other POS experience is a plus).
  • Advanced SQL Server development (PostgreSQL), including stored procedures and triggers.
  • Experience integrating with ERP systems (SAP ECC, S4, P360).
  • Strong skills in Web API development (REST / SOAP, OAuth2.0).
  • Proficiency in scripting (Batch, PowerShell, VB, JavaScript, Python).
  • Experience with BI tools (SSRS, SSIS, ETL).
  • Working knowledge of VB.Net, C#.NET, HTML, DevOps tools (GitHub, Azure DevOps).
  • Ability to create technical documentation and flowcharts.
  • Retail industry experience.
  • Background in Agile transformation and POD formation is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience in enterprise-level project management.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, multi-tasking environments.
