Power BI Developer – Finance Domain (5+ Years)

We are looking for a Power BI resource with strong expertise in the Finance domain, capable of directly engaging with Finance business users, and possessing excellent communication and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, build, and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models tailored to financial processes such as P&L, balance sheets, cash flow, budgeting, and cost analysis.
• Develop robust data models (Star / Snowflake) and ensure high-performance DAX calculations.
• Work closely with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, and Business teams to gather requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
• Implement row-level security (RLS) , data governance policies, and report access controls.
• Perform data cleaning, transformation, and loading using Power Query and DAX.
• Create automated refresh schedules , performance tuning, and data validation checks.
• Integrate data from ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Tally, etc.), SQL databases, Excel, and cloud sources.
• Build financial KPIs, variance analysis, trend charts, forecasts , and other analytical models.
• Maintain version control, documentation, and ensure best practices in BI deployment .
• Troubleshoot issues related to data accuracy, refresh failures, or visual performance.
• Support ad-hoc analysis and deliver insights to non-technical finance users.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data processes and reporting automation.
