Tendering Specialist

Job Summary :

The Tender Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end tendering process — from identifying opportunities, preparing tender documentation, and ensuring compliance with client requirements to coordinating submissions and supporting negotiations. This role ensures that all tenders are prepared professionally, accurately, and within deadlines to maximize the organization’s chance of winning contracts.

Key Responsibilities :

• Identify and evaluate tender opportunities through government portals, online platforms, and client communications.
• Review tender documents, scope of work, and client requirements to ensure full understanding of project needs.
• Prepare and compile all tender documentation (technical, commercial, and financial) in coordination with relevant departments.
• Ensure tender submissions comply with all client requirements, company policies, and legal standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams (e.G., finance, engineering, legal, operations) to gather necessary information for tender preparation.
• Develop pricing strategies and prepare cost estimates in collaboration with management and technical staff.
• Track tender progress, manage clarifications and query, and ensure timely submission before deadlines.
• Maintain a database of tender submissions, outcomes, and feedback for continuous improvement.
• Support post-tender negotiations, clarifications, and contract award processes.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing benchmarks to improve tender competitiveness.
• 3–5 years of experience in tendering, bids, or contract management.
