Senior Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team.

• The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing and building internal PaaS systems in the cloud, ensuring reliability, security, and efficiency of engineering teams.
• They will collaborate with other teams to identify and implement optimal cloud-based solutions for the company.
• Responsibilities include providing support for complex issues using our internal PaaS systems, participating in on-call schedules for emergency incident support, and administering cloud environments according to company security guidelines.
• The successful candidate will also design and maintain utility tools and libraries for services managed by other teams, develop reliable components to support web application architecture, and implement metrics and monitoring systems for full stack visibility.
• Furthermore, they will design and improve cloud deployment tools for CI / CD systems, educate teams on cloud system operation and best practices, mentor teammates on cloud systems, and research industry trends and make recommendations to the department head.

Requirements

Education and Experience

A Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering is required. The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of experience developing web applications, preferably using Ruby on Rails. Certification as an AWS Solutions Architect or similar is beneficial.
