Senior Kotlin Developer - Vert.x Framework

Seeking a highly skilled Senior Kotlin Developer to join our dynamic team. As part of our core backend engineering group, you will work on the development and maintenance of our advanced planning application, leveraging cutting-edge tools and cloud-native technologies.

This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment and enjoys solving complex problems with scalable backend solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, event-driven backend services using Kotlin and the Vert.x framework
• Build and enhance gRPC-based microservices to ensure seamless and secure communication across services
• Implement robust, type-safe database access using JOOQ
• Work with PostgreSQL or CockroachDB to manage and optimize data storage and retrieval
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes
• Collaborate cross-functionally with frontend developers, DevOps, QA, and product teams
• Take ownership of new development, enhancements, system integrations, and AI-driven initiatives
• Stay current with emerging technologies and advocate for engineering best practices within the team
