Senior Assistant Director - Women Empowerment, DE&I (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion)

Job descriptionExpertise in gender studies, diversity, and inclusion. Demonstrate sensitivity to gender-related matters. Exhibits a profound commitment to Diversity & Inclusion. Possesses sound knowledge of Diversity & Inclusion, women’s empowerment, and initiatives in the development sector. Showcases robust research and analytical skills. Communicates effectively with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Manages projects proficiently. Presents ideas with excellence and is proficient in the MS Office Suite. Interacts seamlessly with senior stakeholders from industry, government, and academia. Functions effectively as a team player with the ability to multitask. Thrives under tight deadlines. Adapts flexibly to diverse tasks in response to evolving committee requirements. Maintain an up-to-date overview of sector-related matters nationally and internationally to identify focus areas of interest. Assist in setting up committee meetings and maintain an up-to-date overview of key meeting agendas. Prepare research reports, project proposals, and provide inputs on government notifications / announcements, policy documents, etc. Collaborate with external entities such as government agencies, industry associations, and international organizations on policy-related projects. Support the organization in hosting thematic-related events, conferences, and capacity-building workshops, including marketing and outreach activities. Work closely with all stakeholders to create awareness and drive participation. Generate revenue by securing sponsorships and acquiring new projects.
We are looking for :
- Post-Graduate in MSW / Sociology / Human Resources / Psychology / Humanities
- Completed a professional course in Gender Studies / Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
- 4-9 years of relevant experience in diversity and inclusion-related work
