Engineer -Design / Assessment Of Bridges

Your role

• Perform structural design and assessment of bridges using established methodologies and tools.
• Detail steel and concrete bridge structures and coordinate with the CAD team.
• Prepare and review assessment documentation, including Form AA and BA reports.
• Conduct load capacity evaluations and identify sub-standard structures.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and project teams to recommend mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with external consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Maintain asset data and contribute to continuous improvement of assessment processes.
• Support development of interim solutions and long-term asset strategies.
• Participate in design coordination and interface management with other disciplines.
• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Working towards Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status.
• Experience with railway infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of materials including steel, concrete, masonry, and composite structures.
• Familiarity with international design standards.
