Job Title : Salesforce Administrator

Location : Remote - Bangalore / India

Department : Front Office Solutions Delivery

Reports To : Tony Ashby, Director, Front Office Solutions Delivery

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Administrator to join our Front Office Solutions Delivery team. In this role, you will be responsible for the configuration, customization, and ongoing administration of our Salesforce platform, ensuring it aligns with Alvaria's business objectives and enhances our customer engagement capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce Configuration and Customization :

  • Daily administration and support of Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud Platforms including but not limited to managing multiple user setup, profiles and roles, customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts and validation rules.
  • Develop and maintain process automation (Flows), and approval processes to streamline business operations.
  • Create and support customized reports and dashboards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve end user requests utilizing ticket tracking system.
  • Communicate changes in process and application behavior to users.
  • Keep abreast of new salesforce features / functionality and provide recommendations for process improvements.

System Integration and Data Management :

  • Assist with the configuration and maintenance of integrations between Salesforce and other systems.
  • Experience utilizing ETL tools to complete mass updates to data sources, with applied knowledge using salesforce dataloader a must.
  • Implement and oversee data governance practices, including data quality, data modeling, and data cleansing.
  • Complete currency exchange rate updates.
  • User Support and Training :

  • Ability to effectively and professionally communicate complex information to business, functional staff and management.
  • Strong customer service and teamwork skills. Professional demeanor to build, enhance, and maintain relationships.
  • Independently handles complex aspects of position, such as leading or training cross functional teams on IT delivered projects and enhancements
  • Governance and Compliance :

  • Implement and maintain best practices for Salesforce governance, including security settings, user permissions, system configuration documentation, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator in a dynamic enterprise environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce configuration, automation, and data management best practices.
  • Strong understanding of security models, access controls, and integration concepts, including API usage.
  • Experience with Salesforce Flows for process automation and workflow actions.
  • Lightning and UI / UX development experience.
  • Experience implementing best practices with Salesforce Sales and Service Clouds.
  • Data structure analysis, object-oriented design, and optimization.
  • Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment.
  • Ability to influence and educate business process owners and colleagues.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with enhancing an existing, stable, and fully functional Salesforce environment.
  • Research, install, and configure AppExchange products to supplement business processes.
  • Familiarity with application development for any of the following are a plus [APEX, Lighting Framework, JavaScript, XML, HTTP, Java, C++, ASP, SQL, SOQL].
  • Salesforce Administrator 201 Certification.
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years salesforce administration experience
  • Work schedule will include non-standard hours.
  • Ability to pass a background check required.
  • Physical requirements include sitting for long periods of time.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, MIS, or related field.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications and websites.
  • Experience supporting Salesforce CPQ, Advanced Approvals, and Conga Composer
  • Apex and JavaScript experience.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps, release management strategies, and change management.
