(A Multi-City QSR, Cloud Kitchen & Resort Development Brand)

Position Summary : We are seeking a Hospitality Expert Consultant / Specialist with 25+ years of proven experience in hotel, resort, or F&B operations to provide strategic and operational guidance to The Chulha Tales Kitchens LLP. The consultant will play a pivotal role in preparing feasibility studies, operational strategies, and resolving day-to-day operational challenges across multiple formats—ranging from QSRs, cloud kitchens, restaurants, and boutique resorts.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct market feasibility and financial viability studies for new hospitality projects (restaurants, resorts, and QSR outlets).
  • Evaluate location potential, competitive landscape, pricing, and ROI projections.
  • Advise on design, layout, kitchen planning, and operational workflows for efficiency and profitability.
  • Develop SOPs, quality standards, and service protocols for consistency across outlets.
  • Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, supply chain issues, and HR challenges.
  • Guide the team on menu engineering, guest experience, and brand positioning.
  • Assist management with budgeting, cost control, and performance monitoring.
  • Ensure statutory compliance with FSSAI, labor laws, and hospitality regulations.
  • Advise on scalability, franchising, and strategic expansion models.

Qualification Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel / Hospitality Management (IHM / IIHM / AICTE approved).
  • MBA / Master’s in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or Business Administration preferred.
  • Executive certification in Hospitality Finance, Project Management, or Strategic Management.
  • Certifications in Revenue Management (Cornell, Les Roches, EHL) preferred.
  • Knowledge of Food Safety, HACCP, ISO 22000, and Quality Systems.
  • Experience Requirements (25+ Years) :

  • At least 25 years in hotel, resort, or restaurant management with 10+ years in senior leadership.
  • Experience with pre-opening, feasibility studies, and concept development for hospitality projects.
  • Hands-on experience managing 4-star or 5-star hotels, resorts, or multi-unit restaurant chains.
  • Exposure to P&L management, budgeting, operational audits, and HR mentoring.
  • Experience in multi-city or franchise operations and hospitality consulting firms.
  • Familiarity with project feasibility tools, PMS systems (Opera, IDS, Cloudbeds), and POS / CRM systems.
  • Strong financial and analytical acumen for ROI, asset utilization, and cost control.
  • Experience handling statutory and licensing compliance for hospitality businesses.
  • Proficiency in technology-led hospitality management and digital transformation.
  • Preferred Background : Ex–General Manager, Corporate Head, or Hospitality Consultant from leading hotel groups such as Taj, Marriott, ITC, Oberoi, Lemon Tree, or equivalent consulting firms (HVS, CBRE Hospitality, Horwath HTL).

    Location : Hybrid / Remote with travel to project sites (initially Siliguri, Bangalore, and expansion cities).
