Our journey so far :

Jupiter was founded in 2019 by Jitendra Gupta. Best known as Citrus Pay’s founder, Jiten found himself wondering why personal finance experiences were not customer-centric when everything else like food ordering and entertainment were. That’s how our journey began in 2019, with a simple, powerful idea : to create a modern, customer-centric experience that empowers individuals when it comes to their money.

From our humble beginnings, we've strived relentlessly to make managing money easier. In 2021 when we launched we had a waitlist with over 100,000 people eager to experience the world of Jupiter and within 10 months we crossed 1 million users. Today, we have 2.7 million + happy users on Jupiter.

Our Insights feature today tells how much and where you’ve been spending automatically, even on your other savings accounts! Our Edge CSB Bank RuPay credit card is getting a lot of love for it’s head-turning transparent design, not to mention it being a rewarding experience. Our No-Penalty SIP and Daily SIP at Rs 10 / - has helped scale our investments business and we have over 100,000 users investing on our platform to fulfill their money aspirations.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer who loves solving complex product problems and crafting simple, delightful experiences. You’ll collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate ideas into user-centered designs that deliver real impact.

You think like a product owner, balancing user needs, business goals, technical feasibility and you care deeply about the details that make great products feel effortless.

What You’ll Do

  • Design end-to-end product experiences , from problem framing and user flows to polished visual design and interactions.
  • Break down complex product requirements into clear, actionable design goals and iterate rapidly toward solutions.
  • Use structured problem-solving to bring clarity to ambiguity and create simple, intuitive outcomes.
  • Generate multiple ideas and prototypes early on , exploring diverse solutions before narrowing down.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to ship designs efficiently , ensuring quality through thoughtful handoff and collaboration.
  • Actively participate in user research and customer interviews , turning insights into design opportunities.
  • Use personas and user narratives to guide design decisions and align product features with real customer needs.
  • Leverage the design system effectively , maintaining consistency while contributing to its evolution.
  • Seek continuous feedback from peers and cross-functional partners to raise the bar for design quality.
  • Measure design success through data and qualitative feedback , iterating toward better outcomes.

What You’ll Bring

  • 4+ years of hands-on product design experience in a fast-paced, consumer-focused tech environment.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design work, from discovery and ideation to final UI execution.
  • Excellent UI craft and interaction design skills , with a keen eye for detail, usability, and polish.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous and dynamic environments , able to move fast without losing clarity.
  • Ability to think strategically and make trade-offs that balance user value, technical feasibility, and business goals.
  • Use of AI tools to quickly iterate and prototype is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, articulate design decisions clearly and back them with reasoning and data.
