MayaLabs is building the future of Digital AGI : a personal task genie powered by voice and intelligence. Imagine a world where your assistant doesn’t just answer questions; but executes tasks end-to-end : managing your calendar, inbox, and even online transactions.

We’re a super early-stage startup already live with early users. As an intern, you won’t just “watch” innovation happen : you’ll shape it, test it, and ship it .

🚀 Role Description

As an AI Product Management Intern , you will :

Use Maya as your daily assistant and document workflows, friction points, and new opportunities.
Research competitors and market trends ; create insight decks and product comparisons.
Discover and propose new workflows Maya should automate.
Develop retention strategies and growth playbooks.
Contribute to customer success and onboarding scripts .
Work directly with founders to influence product roadmap and positioning.

🎯 Qualifications

Experience in AI, product design, and digital user experiences .

Ability to analyze competitors and synthesize insights .

Comfortable making decks and video explainers .

Strong communication skills - crisp writing and clear speaking (tweets).

Bonus : prior exposure to design (UI / UX), startups, consulting, or product strategy .

🧪 Application Assignment (Mandatory)

Part 1 : User & Workflow Discovery

Task : Use Maya @ https : / / mayaagent.ai / to complete at least 3 tasks (e.g., schedule a meeting, check inbox, make a call).

Deliverables :

A video walkthrough (Loom / Zoom / YouTube) explaining what you tried, why, and what happened.

A deck (3–5 slides) covering :

3 things you loved

3 friction points

2 new workflows / tasks Maya should support

Part 2 : Competition & Retention

Task : Pick one competitor (e.g., Siri, Alexa, Replika, Rabbit R1, Humane Pin, x.ai) and create a competitive analysis .

Deliverables :

A competitive insights deck (5–7 slides) covering :

Strengths & weaknesses of competitor

How Maya can differentiate in the next 6 months

A retention experiment (1–2 slides) : propose a campaign or feature that keeps users coming back daily.

A short video (2–3 mins) explaining your thought process behind the deck.

Part 3 : Growth Playbook

Task : Propose a growth experiment to get Maya its first 1000 sticky users .

Deliverables :

A growth deck (3–5 slides) :

Acquisition strategy (channels, hacks, campaigns)

Retention hook (why users will stay)

Virality loop (how they bring friends)

A 1–2 min video explanation of your idea.
