Gardener / Handyperson - Bethanie Home Care South West

Bethanie Home Care provides a wide variety of services to clients covering day to day living needs in their own homes including personal care, domestic and gardening services, respite services and social support.

As a Gardener / Handy Person , you will be providing our clients with gardening services within their homes in the South West .

This rewarding position will fulfil your interest in providing a supportive and compassionate service within aged care and giving something back to the community.

This role is being offered on a Permanent Full Time basis working Monday- Friday from 8 : 00am – 4 : 00pm.  However, we are also open to considering applications for a part-time position.

The hourly rate is  $30.33 plus super (salary packaging optional).

You will have commuting use of a Bethanie work vehicle and an optional trailer with tools which you can bring home each evening or pick up from our South West facility each day.

Our Home Care base is located in South West so there will be the requirement to travel to this location on the odd occasion, but travel mileage will be covered.

About You :

• Some gardening and lawn mowing experience
• Basic Handyman skills
• Current manual drivers licence , and ability to drive with a trailer
• Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate to clients and staff
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
• Ability to identify work place safety, and operate in a safe manner
• Current Police Clearance, or willingness to apply for one
• Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group Inc.
• Willingness to obtain vaccinations (minimum of 1 COVID 19 vaccinations and annual flu vaccinations)
