Job Title : Engineering Manager

About the Role :
We're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a small but critical team responsible for
building, scaling, and maintaining the technology that powers our online crowdfunding platform.
You'll work closely with the product team and other stakeholders, and will be responsible not just for delivery, but for ensuring the long-term quality and reliability of our systems.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to stay deeply hands-on while also growing into a
strong people and execution leader.
Responsibilities :
- Lead engineering execution across product development, QA, and infrastructure
- Design, review, and implement high-quality software systems and reliable architecture
- Mentor and manage a team of 3 to 5 engineers-ensuring technical excellence and personal growth
- Own the engineering roadmap in collaboration with product and business stakeholders
- Ensure system reliability through good dev practices, testing, and monitoring
- Champion best practices in software engineering, CI / CD, and cloud infrastructure , Nodes.js , Mongo.DB
- Communicate effectively across functions-product, operations, and design
Educational Qualification / Work Experience & Skills :
BE / B.Tech / MCA / PG with min. 7 to 10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership or management roleProven ability to write and review high-quality code in one or more modern languagesStrong understanding of system design, databases, API development, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, etc.)Familiarity with DevOps practices and setting up observability tools, CI / CD, and cloud infrastructure , Nodes.js , Mongo.DBAbility to leverage AI tools to enhance efficiency and quality in software development and deliveryExperience managing end-to-end product cycles including planning, execution, testing, and deploymentComfort with cross-functional collaborationHigh degree of ownership and autonomy-you can drive projects independently and take accountability(ref : hirist.tech)
