Job descriptionStrong hands-on experience with Cypress and Selenium for UI automation. Proficiency in Java for automation scripting and framework development. Solid experience in API testing (REST / SOAP) with tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar . Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies , and defect management processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Cypress and Selenium .
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA team members to define test strategies and ensure product quality.
- Perform API testing (REST / SOAP) using tools such as Postman or libraries like RestAssured .
- Implement Java-based automation frameworks , ensuring code reusability, maintainability, and scalability.
- Participate in CI / CD pipelines , integrating automated tests into build and release workflows.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and report defects, working closely with developers to drive resolutions.
- Document test cases, execution results, and contribute to test planning and reporting .
- (Good to Have) Leverage Generative AI tools for accelerating test case creation, test data generation, and documentation.
