What you will enjoy doing
- Start / Stop the machine Performs parison controls.
- Monitor Material control (weight distribution, regrind levels, watch tail lengths, etc.)
- Performs regular quality control throughout the shift and visual quality checks.
- Check process parameters like machine cycle time, mould cooling water temperature, process temperatures.
- Weigh waste material / lumps and record in daily production report.
- Prepare machine for mold change.
- Ensures goods are produced in correct quantity and in accordance with agreed specifications.
- Ensure rejected bottles are stored in rejection bin only.
- Correctly record the details of bottles / caps packed (pallet no., destination, Qty, etc.) in the register and production report.
- Report any deviation in the m / c operation or product to supervisor immediately
- Assists Machine / Shift Supervisor / Mould change team with mold / color changes as needed
- Maintain good housekeeping and 5’S’ in and around the machine and within department
- Follow all Safety norms.
- Control and monitor the contract labour in shifts.
