Senior Technical Recruiter – Roles and Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Recruitment :
  • Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle from requirement gathering to offer acceptance and onboarding.
  • Handle sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates for technical and non-technical positions.
  • Stakeholder Management :
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to understand hiring needs and define hiring strategies.
  • Provide regular updates on hiring progress, market insights, and candidate pipeline status.
  • Sourcing and Talent Mapping :
  • Utilize multiple sourcing channels including LinkedIn, job portals, social media, employee referrals, and networking.
  • Proactively build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for future requirements.
  • Screening and Evaluation :
  • Conduct technical and behavioral interviews to assess candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate technical assessments and feedback sessions with internal teams.
  • Offer Management and Negotiation :
  • Manage offer processes, negotiate compensation, and ensure a smooth candidate experience from selection to joining.
  • Work closely with HR and business teams to ensure alignment with internal compensation structures.
  • Recruitment Metrics and Reporting :
  • Maintain accurate data in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Track and report key recruitment metrics such as TAT, offer-to-join ratio, and source effectiveness.
  • Employer Branding and Candidate Experience :
  • Represent the company professionally in all candidate interactions.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance employer branding through social media and engagement activities.
  • Market Intelligence :
  • Keep abreast of market trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor hiring activities.
  • Share insights with leadership to guide workforce planning and hiring strategies.
  • Mentorship and Collaboration :
  • Mentor junior recruiters and share best practices within the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for recruitment process improvement.

Key Skills Required

  • Strong understanding of technical roles (Software Development, Cloud, DevOps, Data, Infrastructure, etc.).
  • Excellent sourcing skills using Boolean searches, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other tools.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with ATS and CRM systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
