Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled Reports / Data Analytics Engineer with strong expertise in Python scripting, database handling, and data analysis. The role involves building and optimizing reporting pipelines, extracting and preprocessing data, and delivering actionable insights to support business strategies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in query writing, debugging, reporting frameworks, and analytical problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain Python-based scripts for data extraction, preprocessing, and automated reporting.
  • Write efficient SQL / MongoDB / SQLite queries to retrieve, manipulate, and manage structured and semi-structured data.
  • Perform data validation, cleansing, and transformation for accurate reporting.
  • Generate insightful reports and dashboards, providing meaningful business insights.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis of data quality and performance issues.
  • Document processes, workflows, and data pipelines for reporting reproducibility.

Required Skills (Max 6) :

  • Python (5+ Years) : scripting, data preprocessing, analysis automation.
  • Database Knowledge : query writing, schema handling, data management (SQL / NoSQL).
  • Data Analysis & Insights : identifying trends, anomalies, and business-impacting issues.
  • Reporting & Visualization : experience with reporting frameworks / dashboards.
  • Problem-Solving & Debugging : strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Collaboration & Communication : ability to work with cross-functional teams.

    • Nice-to-Have Skills (Max 3) :

  • Working knowledge of MongoDB.
  • Proficiency in SQLite query handling.
  • Experience with reporting frameworks / tools (Flask / Django).

    • Education Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field.
  • Advanced certifications in Python, Data Analytics, or Databases preferred.

    • Additional Comments for Supplier :

  • Must have 4+ years of relevant experience in Reports / Data Analytics.
  • Strong experience in Python scripting for data preprocessing and reporting is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of MongoDB & SQLite queries is required.
  • Proven expertise in data analysis for identifying issues & providing insights.
  • Exposure to reporting tools / frameworks (Flask / Django) is a strong advantage.
