Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Logistics Manager to lead logistics operations from our corporate office in Pune . This role is critical to ensuring seamless coordination across import logistics, production support, inventory control , and invoicing , with a strong emphasis on compliance with Indian regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing logistics in the chemical industry , with strong knowledge of hazardous goods handling, import procedures, GST compliance , and production-linked logistics .

Key Responsibilities :

1. Import Coordination (India Focused)

• Manage end-to-end import processes for raw materials and chemicals, including coordination with CHA (Customs House Agents) , freight forwarders, and global suppliers.
• Ensure timely documentation and clearance at Indian ports (e.g., Nhava Sheva), including preparation and submission of :
• Bill of Entry
• Commercial Invoices
• Packing Lists
• HS Codes classification
• DGFT licenses (if applicable)
• Ensure compliance with Indian import regulations including Customs Act, BIS certifications (if applicable), DGFT guidelines , and hazardous goods clearance (as per IMDG / IATA norms) .
