OSP Design Engineer

Job descriptionHands-on experience in drafting AT&T IFP F2 projects using ARAMIS-DT & WALDO Software. Lead the design and development of OSP fiber optic networks, including IFP F2 distribution systems, for brownfield and new (greenfield) developments. Create detailed engineering drawings, and layouts for the fiber optic network infrastructure, ensuring that they meet design specifications, technical requirements, and customer needs. Perform detailed fiber network planning, route optimization, and calculation of fiber counts, ensuring efficient network expansion. Work closely with the project management team to ensure all OSP design work is delivered on time, within budget, and meets the client's requirements. Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of design packages, permitting, and construction activities. Oversee and participate in site surveys, evaluating existing conditions and providing recommendations for infrastructure development in greenfield areas.
