Job description
Job Responsibilities :
Defining the product vision, creating and maintaining product roadmaps, and prioritising product development based on need analysis and business goals.
Conducting market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and competition offerings.
Developing product strategies to capitalise on market opportunities.
Collating and prioritising product requirements from various stakeholders, including customers, sales, marketing, and engineering teams.
Working with R&D and other teams to develop and launch new solar energy products or features, ensuring quality and timelines.
Developing and executing go-to-market strategies, including pricing, positioning, and sales and marketing plans, to drive product adoption and top-line and bottom-line growth.
Managing product lifecycle
Monitoring product performance and market trends
Areas of work
Solar inverters and their kitting for the residential and commercial segments.
Energy battery storage systems
Smart solar solutions for residential,
Desired Functional Knowledge :
Understanding of solar energy technologies and systems – preferred.
Market research and analysis skills.
Product management experience – preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively.
Understanding of customer needs and experience in developing
customer-centric products.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in handling demonstrations of products
Good knowledge in MS Office for documentation / presentation
Experience in marketing and switchgear, without solar background, is also preferred
